Welcome to my corner of the internet, a space I hope encourages honesty, curiosity, and respectful engagement. Whether you’re here to learn, connect, or challenge ideas, my goal is to create a space where real conversations can happen without making people feel unsafe or unwelcome.
My Philosophy of Community:
Online community, at its best, is collaborative. I believe in disagreement without disrespect and connection without performance. I welcome a range of perspectives, but I’m not interested in hosting debates that rely on bad faith or ignore lived experiences.
What I Expect from Commenters:
- Be thoughtful. Consider how your tone or words may land with someone from a different background.
- Stay on topic. Challenge ideas, not individuals.
- Avoid assumptions. We’re here to learn from each other, not lecture.
Flagging + Moderation:
If you see a comment that feels off, hateful, spammy, or harassing, you can flag it by replying with “Flagged for review.” I’ll take a look and decide if it stays or goes.
Comment Removal Policy:
I reserve the right to remove any comment that is hateful, misleading, spammy, or otherwise harmful to others. Disagreement is fine, disrespect isn’t.
Banning Policy:
Repeat offenders may be banned. One warning will be issued if I think a commenter can course-correct. If not, they’re out.
